About Impact Windows & Doors

Impact windows are specially made windows that can take a hit from flying debris during a hurricane and stay in one piece. The glass is made in layers with a strong film in the middle that holds everything together — even if the glass cracks. Your home stays protected and your family stays safe.
Yes. South Florida gets hit by more hurricanes than almost anywhere else in the country. Standard windows can blow in during a bad storm. Once a window goes, the pressure inside your home can tear off your roof. Impact windows prevent that from happening. They also protect you year-round — not just during storms.
Shutters you have to put up before every storm and take down after. They make your house dark and they're a hassle to store. Impact windows are always there — you do nothing and your home is protected all the time. Most people who switch say they wish they'd done it years ago.
Yes. Every product we install has a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA). That's the toughest safety rating in the country for windows and doors. If a product passes Miami-Dade testing, it can handle anything Florida throws at it — including Category 5 hurricanes.
Yes. Impact windows block a lot of heat from coming in, so your AC doesn't have to run as hard. Most homeowners notice lower electric bills after installation. If you choose a glass with a special Low-E coating, you can block even more heat. They also block nearly all UV rays, which keeps your furniture and floors from fading.
Yes, they do a great job at this. The thick, layered glass cuts down a lot of outside sound — traffic, neighbors, storms. Homeowners near busy roads or the water notice a big difference right away. It's one of the most popular surprises after installation.

Products & Options

We can get impact windows in just about every style — single hung (standard up-and-down windows), horizontal sliders, casement (windows that crank open), picture windows, and custom shapes like arches. If you have a standard opening or a one-of-a-kind opening, there's an impact window that fits it.
We install all types of impact doors — front entry doors (single or double), sliding glass doors for the back patio or pool area, French doors, and impact garage doors. Every door we install is Miami-Dade approved. We'll help you pick the right one for each opening.
Aluminum. It's the best choice for Florida because it doesn't rust, handles the heat and humidity well, and is strong enough to hold up in a hurricane. The frames are also coated with a tough paint finish that won't fade or peel in the sun.
Yes. The most common options are white, bronze, and black. Some product lines offer custom colors too. We'll go over all the choices during your consultation so you can find the look that fits your home best.
You can choose clear, gray tint, bronze tint, or Low-E glass. Clear is the most common. Tinted glass cuts down on glare and heat. Low-E is the most energy-efficient — it has a special coating that keeps heat out while still letting natural light in. We'll help you pick what makes the most sense for your home.
Yes. We measure every opening in your home by hand, and the windows are made to fit exactly. Arched windows, round windows, oversized openings — we've done them all. Nothing gets left out.

Cost & Value

It depends on how many windows and doors you have, their sizes, and which products you choose. Every home is different. The best way to find out what it costs for your home is to get a free quote — we come to you, measure everything, and give you an exact number. No pressure, no obligation.
Most likely yes. Florida requires insurance companies to give you a discount when you have approved impact products. The savings vary, but many homeowners save a few hundred dollars a year. That adds up over time and helps pay for the windows. After your install, just call your insurance company and tell them. That's it.
A wind mitigation inspection is when a licensed inspector comes to your home and writes a report saying your windows and doors are hurricane-approved. You give that report to your insurance company, and they lower your bill. It usually costs $150–$200 and most people make that back in the first year of savings. We recommend getting one done after your install.
Yes. Buyers in South Florida love seeing impact windows already installed — it's one less big thing they have to do. Homes with impact windows sell faster and often for more. It's one of the best upgrades you can make to a South Florida home.
Yes. We work with financing partners so you can spread out the cost. Ask us about your options when you call or when we come out for your free consultation.

2. Quote — you get a full, itemized price. No surprises. No pressure to sign on the spot.

3. Permits — we handle all the paperwork with the city. You don't have to do anything.

4. Installation — our crew comes out and gets it done cleanly and professionally.

5. Inspection — we schedule the final inspection and see it through to approval. Done.
Yes — all of it. We file the permit, deal with the city, handle HOA approvals if needed, and get the final sign-off. You will not get a single call from the city. We take care of everything.
Usually 2–6 weeks, depending on which city you're in. We submit the permit right after you sign and stay on top of it so there are no hold-ups. We'll let you know the realistic timeline for your area when we meet with you.
Most homes take 1–3 days. It depends on how many openings you have and their size. We'll give you a specific timeline at your consultation — and we stick to it.
Yes, and most people do. Our crew is respectful, clean, and won't make a mess of your home. We'll tell you which rooms we're working in so you can go about your day.
Yes, all the time. We know how to deal with HOA paperwork and approvals. We handle all of it so you don't have to go back and forth with the HOA yourself.

Service Area & Scope

We serve all of Broward County — Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas, Plantation, Hollywood, Weston, Davie, Cooper City, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, and the surrounding areas. If you're in South Florida, give us a call.
No. You can start with a few and do the rest later. Some homeowners start with the front door or the biggest windows first. Others do the whole house at once. There's no minimum. We'll help you figure out what makes the most sense for your budget.
Yes. Condos need a bit more paperwork — your building management and HOA usually have to approve it. We handle all of that for you. Just give us your building's address and we'll walk you through exactly what's involved.

After Installation

The products we install come with manufacturer warranties on the glass and hardware. We also back our own installation work. If something's not right after we leave, we come back and fix it. Simple as that.
Even if an impact window cracks, it stays in one piece. The film in the middle of the glass holds it together, so your home is still protected until we can replace the glass. Call us, we'll take a look and tell you what's covered and what it takes to fix.
They're very low maintenance. Clean the glass with regular window cleaner. Wipe the frames down with soap and water every now and then. Once a year, take a quick look at the seals around the edges. That's really it. They're built for Florida weather.
Call us. If you have any issue with the windows or our work — a week later or months later — we pick up the phone and we come back out. We've built our whole business on repeat customers and referrals. That only happens when you do right by people.
